December 2020 - Christmas Cards
This term Year 4 have been spreading Christmas cheer with one of our local care home, Saxon Court Assisted Living Care Home. The link has come through one of the pupil's parents who works there. Over the last month we have create christmas cards and decorations for the residents of the care home, to help cheer them up over the Christmas period, which will be different for so many of us. This is a piece of Christmas art work which Year 4 created all together and some examples of their Christmas cards.
Well done to Scarlett-Rose!
We would like to say a huge well done to Scarlett-Rose who we are really proud to inform you has been highly commended in the award for Young Fundraiser of the Year.
During the first lockdown she broke her wrist whilst riding her bike at the park. Being eager to get back on her bike she decided she wanted to do a sponsored bike ride.
Scarlett-Rose decided on cycling 100 miles around Bicester to try and raise £100 for the Thames Valley Air Ambulance. She absolutely smashed her target and raised an amazing £1000!
