Bicester Town Colts Under 10s won the Radley Football Tournament without letting in a single goal!  The whole tournament had 21 teams.  This is the third tournament they have ever won after coming very close lots of times.  In the whole tournament we scored 13 goals!!  It was six a side teams with one defender, two midfielders, one goalkeeper, two wingers and no striker.  Each match lasted 7 minutes.

In the semi finals, BTC won 2 - nil on penalties against Didcot Whites - which is quite an achievement!  In the final, BTC won 1 - nil in extra time against Cumnor who were a very good team and played fair.

After the game, the team celebrated their success by getting an ice cream and slush puppie!  Charlie Honour (Year 5 GFPS) put his slush puppie into the trophy instead of champagne!!  There were more than 1000 fans (apparently.....) all supporting different teams.  The tournament went on for six hours and it was about 23 degrees all day.

"We really enjoyed playing the tournament and hope we can do something like it again."

Mrs MacLachlan said, "We are very proud of Jacob, Alfie and Charlie (footballers in the successful team) who are a very important part of Glory Farm Primary School and are currently in Year 5.   Max is also a valued member of the team but was unable to take part in this tournament on this occasion.     However, he was a part of the training and preparation for the tournament.
