Year 3 have been continuing to further their knowledge of measurement and have focused on adding and subtracting as well as calculating the perimeter of a shape. It was brilliant to see the children so engaged in their learning when problem solving during this morning's lesson. The children worked extremely hard in teams to calculate the perimeter of different shapes and find which one had the hidden treasure underneath. Have a look at some photos of our learning on this topic!

What a busy term! Well done to you all for all your hard work; whether that's in school or at home, we have certainly enjoyed seeing what you have been getting up to. There has been some very creative learning going on both in school and at home and we've attached a few highlights ranging from arts and crafts for the care home, collage work, messy spelling, bird watching, baking and many more!
The Year 3 Team are very proud of you all, have a well deserved break this half term.
26.11.20 - Quad Kids
Congratulations to year 3 who won the quad kids competition against 12 other schools.
A special congratulations to Raheema and Frankie who have been selected to represent Glory Farm school in the quad kids final, later this year.
We are very proud of you year 3!
As many of you already know over the course of this term Year 3 has been busy investigating different African patterns in Art. They used this inspiration to then design their very own pattern and print it onto a t-shirt. All the children in Year 3 then participated in a fashion show, with special guests Mrs Black, Miss Buglass and Mrs MacLachlan. The children all walked down the catwalk proudly to showcase their amazing t-shirt creation. Well done to all of the children we are very proud of you!
On Friday 6th November, Year 3 children took part in a 'Digging Day!' This involved learning about different types of rocks, digging and lots of gardening. Have a look at what we got up to here...
